That is, in dog life. About 14 years and 10 months ago, we got this little Brittany Spanial puppy. We never thought he would be with us for this long, but he still is. So on his 15th birthday, we had a little party for him. Here are a few pictures from it. Share your pet picture if you would like.
Actually you are closer than you might know on his name. When I was growing up, we had a Britanny Spaniel mix. We lived in the township and had a yard about 1 1/2 acres. In the 60's and 70's, we never really had to tie the dog up. He would always follow us around the yard. As he got older and began to have problems walking, my mother would say, "look at the poor old man."
So about ten years later when we got this puppy, we named him Old Man. He finally grew into his name.

Well, Yeager, it's obvious that you cherish the "Old Man".
If more people could adore animals, and feel about people the same way they do about their pets, this world would be a sensibly spayed, well-fed, playful expression of unconditional love.
