Hi:
I use McAfee anti virus online.
Since I down loaded their latest update which included the Security Center.
I've had a lot of trouble with my computer locking up, and not wanting to shut down properly.
Was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
And if you are have you figured out what's causing it, and if you did how did you correct it.

There are only PAST McAfee users. Every version of McAfee since Windows'95 first came out, McAfee has been at fault for the lock-up of millions of PCs. You have to boot into DOS on start-up, edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and REM out the line with the McAfee command on it. Then you can boot back into Windows, remove McAfee and go get Norton AntiVirus.

I use windows 98 SE.
I've had no trouble at all till I downloaded the latest update.
It includes what they call Security Center.
And you can't uninstall it!
The (Security Center) that is.
