A single bonb?
Maybe as a terrorist thing - a SMALL fission bomb.
Far more likely an exchange of at least 3 or 4 medium sized bombs.
If the Israeli's start using them I figure that they will use at least 30 to 40 in a well planned first wave - before anyone can act to stop them, and effectively crippling the surrounding Arab nations, and the decapitation of even the ones not bordering. That will leave them holding 3 or 4 times that many in reserve for anyone that wants to argue with them about the first 40. And not even the US or Russia wants to absorb that many to discipline them. They would also grab territory that would make the previous moves minor. I figure ALL of Jordan, Lebenon, most of Syria and a fair bite out of Egypt.

I'm surprised you would say that rawbunzel (so nice to see you btw!) because you are usually so optomistic. Do you think it will happen in the Middle east?
gravid, a small fision bomb? Hiroshima was a small fision bomb. Fision is what's needed to take place on all nuclear bombs. It sounds like you think it'll happen in the middle east as well gravid...how many years from now are you thinking?

actually I rather hope there is enough memeory and fear left around the world from the first use of these weapons that people will think three times before they do anything.
how ever this many be good hope when dealing with most governments only, When it comes to dealing with these radical groups all bets are off.
There hate is mainly based on revenge and this generation don't even what they are seeking revenge for they just know what they were tought to hate and die for ... http://www.Dman-N-Company.com

How long? Surprised it has not already.
I look at the things the US does in the middle east as DEstabilizing in the long run. It is like when they clear the brush out of a forest to keep it from burning - yes it delays it but then when it does happen it is worse.
Without the US and Russian influences the Arabs and Israeli's would have already had it out and resolved the issue. One religion or the other would own the region.
