I haven't read all of the comments in this section, but I am wondering if any of you share my frustration with the flashing blue refrigerator ad for shipping which is to the left of the item description when placing an auction. It drives me CRAZY! I have written to AW before and did so again last night when I was just UP TO HERE with that going flash, flash while I was trying to type. I know they want to make all the money they can from advertisers, but we all pay our fair share and then have to put up with this. Right now over to the left it is earthlink which is flashing itself. I would be interested to know how you all feel about this.

I kinda like those large flashing ads. In fact if this site belonged to me I would have them all over the place.

I guess I've trained myself to tune all that out. I did notice the blue refrigerator and wonder if it was squishing Bambi or something but it didn't hold my attention long enough to stick around and find out.
What scares me is that anybody in AW actually thinks we click on those. I guess it's more important that their advertisers think that. The more we hit, the better AW looks. I guess.
