I did a quick fly-by the mirror before I got into the tub last night, and I look like I'm melting. The back of my legs look like I have socks stuffed under the skin. I bought a magnifying mirror and found this big hair on my neck that was about 4" long. I still gets zits and my hair looks dull.

Are you aging as gracefully as me?

Well, now that you mention it....yes, I think Im aging gracefully. I did buy a package of Natural Instincts hair color, but havent used it yet. Dont know if I will. The gray streak on the top of my head is looking pretty cool, and its slowly turning such a pretty silver. Still, I am debating on coloring again. Something to ponder.

Legs still look presentable. Still pass the pencil test too. However, I do get ONE HAIR on my chin. Just one. I pluck it as soon as it shows up. No zits. I havent had a zit in over 15 years. But wrinkles..yes. I have laugh lines around my mouth. I think it adds character and I earned every one of them

Dunno. Am I bringing dignity to the occassion? Maybe by letting go of vanity. A friend picked up two outfits today on my behalf at *Strawberry's*; 30 bucks each. Once upon a time I had my clothes custom made. She also commented--gee remember when we went shopping last and you were a 0 or a 2--the 4 was too big? So what, buy bigger clothes. Maybe that is aging gracefully...

nycyn, I know what you mean. My sister still wears fake eyelashes, and poofs her hair. The last time I wore makeup was to go job hunting, but most of the time, I run around with a naked face now. No makeup whatsoever. I know I look awful without it, but I dont really care, lol. Who am I to impress? The post office dudes? The grocery store clerk? Nah. Thats another reason why I dont want to dye my hair. I like being natural..and gray IS natural. I earned it along with my wrinkles

Lucky for me I don't have hardly any wrinkles. I have a lot less wrinkles than most fourty year olds. Even my doctor tells me how nice my skin is. I do fully expect it to just "go" one day. That's ok too.

It's my hair I hate. I dye it. I would have a lot of gray on top and I just am not ready for that yet. Otherwise, I'm holding up quite well.

I forgot to mention that it is the climate here that does it. Not too much sun to ruin the skin. So, rain can be a good thing!
