Linda, LOL!!!

From Ebay....

Let me tell you how we ended up with all of these. We were at a shipping company's, unclaimed freight auction. They were auctioning off freight that had gone unclaimed for over 10 years. They would open a wooden crate, take out one item, hold it up and auction off the entire crate, remainder site unseen. (EVERYTHING ELSE WAS CIVILIAN STUFF.) Anyways, this crate came up and they held up a military type item and on a hunch, we bought the entire crate.

Imagine our surprise when we got home and found it full of aircraft parts from the Department of Defense all from 1989. This is what our research has shown us about all the parts. These were taken out of active planes and evaluated at the Dover AFB in Delaware and were all graded for repair or perfect and were on their way to Warner Robbins Air Force Base, Depot Supply when they went missing.

We have spoken extensively with the experts at Warner Robbins since then and have been told that while they would love to buy these from us, there is a freeze on purchasing. Parts can only be purchased on a direct need basis. (THEY KNOW WE ARE SELLING THESE ON EBAY!)

All of these are considered active parts, reparable condition or in "A" grade condition. They are sold as is, being as I have no way of warranting anything like this.

We have done extensive research on each of these and any information we were able to find is right here, including a copy of the readout off the National Defense Logistic Agency's Department of Defense's National Item Identification Number

It appears to be the sellers statement, correct? Was this statement in the sellers listing? I'm not clear if the seller called a government office *first* to tell them what they'd come across before listing on ebay.

Doesn't sound too Top Secret to me.

Where else can you find sensationalized overblown reports making mountains out of molehills but fox.

I only thought to beat someone to the stupid and essentially false report.

It doesn't matter the reason, krs....just the fact that you posted a link from Fox News...means you read it. That's enough for me.

Although....had that 'someone' wanted to share that story I'm sure they would have done so on 6-3....when the story broke...not 4 days later.

Yeah big whoop. It should read restricted not secret. They sell planes to people and then regret it and don't want to sell them parts. It is a wonder when they do that that anyone will buy from them knowing they may cut of parts. Would you buy a car knowing you might not be allowed to buy brake pads and tires next year?

Well...maybe I'm giving you too much credit. Do you usually post saying, "...the stupid and essentially false report without reading it to know that it is indeed a stupid and false report?

And when you were typing in the URL where you not aware that you were posting a link to FOX NEWS???? hehehe

Say what you will.....I GOT YOU!!!

Just HOW does that mean that I read it?

Do you REALLY actually read everything you post links to. If not, why post the link?

(yellowstone, I stole your gif )

Fox News is the best, besides I really like Shepard Smith.
