The building in Boca Raton, Florida that was the site of the first anthrax fatality has still not been cleared of the deadly bug. Apparently several government agencies are in dispute as to whose responsibility it is. The Boca mayor says he would like the Federal government to take over the building as there is concern that spores could escape into the surrounding community. The political finger-pointing has only just begun.

I think that most posters here simply do not realize what we are dealing within terms of how difficult it is to clean an area from biological contanination.
example one would be polio, if you take a high school level dredge and bring up river bottom mud from the mississippi river. a class with minimal equipmnet can still cultureive polio virus from this sample. Just because we have powerful cleaners and antiseptics, does not mean we have won the never ending war that the microscopic killers hae engaged us in since our first step.
Example two, here I will take the case of the Ebola outbreak in Reston Va, firat off we lucked out big time with the first known form of that disease that was a cold type all others we know of kill horribly. My point on this on is that the bu9lding was nuked that is they took in hot plates and boiled off formaldehyde so that no nook or carnny would be left untouched. after this was done they went back into business and guess what the bug was still there.......
example three during the last days of the cold war soviet scientisits along with east german assholes took feline panuleukemia and deliberatly made a new disease caled Canine parvovirus and delibertly released it to study how it would spread thru the free world. to this day after several mutations STRAIN 2B IS STILL A HORRIFYING KILLER, that only recently have vaccines like progard dpv pv 5 or 7 been able to stop the spread of.
Our big medical companies had during the 60' 70'80' scaled back their antibitoic research thinking the war was won now we are even as I speak in a neck and neck race for all our lives with bacteria viruses and prions that
are either immune or becoming immune to our last lines of defense.
Our own center for disease control screwqed up and got rid of the anthrax vaccine!!!of course what really frys me is whenever we got some highly paid screwup they never answer for their actions. at least in Germany they got the Russian front. Here they want paid vacation, You know the cops who handed the little asian kid naked bleeding from his but in public screaming back to Jeffery dahmer Got their jobs back !

Every day even as doctors cut back on prescriptions for anti biotics big fat cat corportations many of them employing illegal aliens, feed our livestock antibiotics to make them gain weight fats while they feed them speed and keep them under bright lights
to keep them eating and awake. then they sell this crap to us and call it food and spend millions not on research but on slamming orgaincally raised foods and natural cures.with the gestapo of the federal government squeezing the little guy more and more each day. enforcing rules and regulations that are thought up of by agriculture dept employees who have never mucked out a stall.
My point is this, you must step forward and say no i'm not going to trust my families security to someone working in the government who wants a cushy corp job when e get out.
If we don't sacrifice our time now to clean this political mess up our enemies the little ones we cant see might clean it up for us.
