70 homicide bombings by the Palestinians in 21 months and you have nothing better to do than post this crap here? Why aren't you going to the Middle East to support your cause? I heard the PLO is hiring bombers- no overtime! BTW- the FBI just arrested a South Florida man for putting anti-American propaganda on the internet.

I have to say that tirade certainally leaves a lot out of the story. It speaks of the Israeli's taking land in 1967 as if it was something that they just suddenaly decided to run out and do.
It ignores the fact that they were invaded by massive military forces and fought a full scale war, and that the lands they siezed in combat make a huge difference in how far they have to fall back when fighting the next armed invasion.
All this bellyaching does not change the fact that the same scenerio happens again and again.
The Arabs attack the Israeli's and then get there silly butts beat.
They lost. That has consequences.
The Arabs are like the Southern people here in the United States - they lost and are still not able to admit it or let it go.
The South Carolina legislature is asking the State of Minnesota to give back their bullet shredded blood soaked battle flag. Ha! - Let them march up there and take it back the same way it was taken!
The Palestinian people sided with the losers and now want everything handed back to them since their Arab allies have abandon them and won't even take their "brothers" in on their own lands.
Maybe they should all invade again as surely the memory of last time has started to fade, and this time you can bet the Israeli's will
take care to wipe out the danger at their back in the first hours before facing the invaders.

Well, there are two sides to every story. And miracle of miracles, one side isn't Israeli propaganda.

If you ever bothered to check out ANY truthful article of the history of Israel, you would find out how horribly the Palestinian Arabs have been treated by the Israeli nation. Remember, they lived there too. But now they are being treated like garbage, and propganda Israel spreads to make the rest of the world believe Palistinian Arabs are a garbage race.

Who said the Jewish race didn't learn anything from Nazi Germany and Hitler. They are using the same plans Hitler used to try and eliminate them....Read Mein Kampf for the blueprint the ISRAELIS are using now.
Except the Arab culture allows them to fight back using any method at their disposal.

Agreed the Israeli's treat the palestinians like crap. That's what I meant when I said losing has consequences. They also jumped in on the wrong side in 1948 right at the start and thought that they would have the Jews wiped out in a couple weeks and take all the land. Bad mistake. Why don't the neighboring states take in the Palestinians and take care of them? Because they are using them - which in it's own way is a s bad as how Israel treats them. There is no interest or possibility of integrating them into the society at all. Not from either side.
If they establish a palestinian state it will be a big ghetto with no industry or commerce just like the other Arab states because the Arab culture places no value on work - that is something menials do and people of quality direct them and have liesure.

Yes the killing of innocent Israelis is wrong but destroying the homes of thousands of refugees to capture 50 or so alleged terrorists is collective punishment not heroic self- defense. Aside from the obvious moral distinction in the above examples, the only difference is that, for us in the western world, the words, sacrifice and martyrdom are not 'cool'.

My guess would be, the author was cut from journalism club in high school and never recovered emotionally. Now he's out for revenge. Bad writing for a 14-year old, and so banal that the author manages to misspell Israel about HALF the time. Yo, Genius. Spellchecker!

The ones who are advocating and practicing genocide are the Palestinians. THEY sided with the Nazis 60 years ago, and continue to press for the extermination of Israel and Jews. Wonder why they target "young" people?

How long is the world going to be held hostage to these thugs and their perversions? History demonstrates the reality that "appeasement" will not work. Just as the German population at large "knew" what Nazis were doing to the Jews (and others) so do the Palestinians sit back and allow and tacitly and overtly condone cold-blooded murder. The showdown is coming.

No Palestinian state.

mlecher- are you saying that before the homicide bombings started with any regularity about two years ago, that the Israelis were actively attacking the Palestinians? According to you the Israelis have been systematically killing them through a genocide all along. What a sick, delusional bunch of crap. I guess your supposed knowledge of Mein Kampf comes from other than your personal interest in that cause.

Where I worked, we came across some issues of Israel Magazine from 1968. They were the initial issues. Some interesting articles by the Israeli News about how to deal with the Palestinian Arab "problem". The problem being they were resisting leaving their ancestral homes and moving into refugee camps. The Palestinian Arabs really didn't care for that "solution". Sort of like the Ghettos in Nazi Germany....

twinsoft,

The writer is a woman, it seems, and she mispelled palestinian about as often for equal time.

stusi,

can you explain how your comment about un-american propaganda relates to this article? Perhaps it's you who is in the wrong place.

mlecher- I suppose you WANT to believe that Israel Magazine was/is an official government publication. Just another totally irrational post, categorizing anything the Israelis have done in the same class as Nazis. You should stick to reading Mein Kampf- it suits your mentality. Can I recommend a good barber?
krs- I truly believe that at least some of what is posted here is truly anti-American, as giving support for terrorist causes here or abroad(vs. our allies) is exactly that. The FBI is now responding to internet postings of this nature. All so inclined should beware.

CNN is reporting a mother and three children killed by Palestinian militant, and another attack on a school thwarted. Hamas has achieved its goal of preventing peace. I do not blame the Palestinians. Anyone supportive of Israel is taken into the street and shot as a traitor.

However, the Palestinians have failed to contain Arafat and Hamas, and since the terrorists base themselves in civilian areas, that puts the Palestinians right in the middle of the conflict. The real terror is coming from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and who knows where. Strip away all the phoney rhetoric and you've got the same intent they've had for the last 50 years, and that is to drive Israel into the sea.

Sharon has waited patiently while Bush & Co. tried to make a statesman out of Arafat, even while countless lives have been lost. Bush failed with Arafat and we are exactly back where we started several months ago. The terror continues and Arafat thumbs his nose. History has shown, and any fool can see that Arafat is a bloody liar.

I don't know what Sharon's new policy will accomplish but it may be better than doing nothing. The past two days have shown that Jenin failed to disrupt the terrorist infrastructure and that Israel is still very vulnerable to this type of attack. Sadly, there seems to be no lack of young volunteers to martyrdom. My sympathies lie with those families who are afraid to go out to the movies or supermarket.

The notion that Israel has committed genocide or is acting in any way like Hitler is offensive revisionist propaganda. While some may be naive or stupid enough to believe it, others propagate those lies with a clear intent. If you support terrorism, you are a terrorist.

In my opinion, Israel has been remarkably restrained. I don't know how long that can continue. World opinion is slowly catching up with the facts. Remember how the argument used to be, "they're only throwing rocks? " And now they're blowing up children with weapons-grade explosives.

Remove the adjective and you've got it exactly right.
