Americans whacked sense of priority
Americans agonize over an injury suffered by their favorite multi-million dollar sports player and whether he will play this year
yet
could give a rat's a$$ if those who teach and protect their children are even marginally qualified.

Americans are terrified that Barry Bonds, the homerun king, will come up postive if he is tested for Steroids and be kicked out of baseball
not
the fact that he may be using illegal drugs to artificially enhance his ability and making the homerun record a sham.

I hope that the baseball owners hire replacements for the players if they strike. I can understand years ago when the players were not payed well, but now? There are opportunities that they can make money other than their baseball salary. I think they are spoiled.
This opinion is for other sports, too.

A few years ago,Baseball owners couldnt get the public back to the ball fields because of a strike.The public was mad at all the price gouging.A new crop of gods" will have to have a reality check.
People who are bored easily, should'nt
Have a lot of money.
