Americans whacked sense of priority

Americans agonize over an injury suffered by their favorite multi-million dollar sports player and whether he will play this year

yet

could give a rat's a$$ if those who teach and protect their children are even marginally qualified.

..........................................
Americans are terrified that Barry Bonds, the homerun king, will come up postive if he is tested for Steroids and be kicked out of baseball

not

the fact that he may be using illegal drugs to artificially enhance his ability and making the homerun record a sham.

......................................

Add your own

.
Reality is a serious condition brought on by a lack of alcohol in the system

I don't watch or care about sports. It is all commercial entertainment just like movies or music.

It has always amused me that when one of these spoiled millionaires does something illegal they sentance them to work with kids as community service.

Like the kids are really going to benefit from close association with the creep.

For years, no decades, I have had the opinion that the American society has some of it's value system ass=backwards.

I hope that the baseball owners hire replacements for the players if they strike. I can understand years ago when the players were not payed well, but now? There are opportunities that they can make money other than their baseball salary. I think they are spoiled.

This opinion is for other sports, too.

Giving billions of aid to other countries when we have our own here at home that need help.

Giving those convicted of crimes more rights than their victims were given.

and I agree with those already given..
