I would like to know how the round table became a 24 hour propaganda chat room.
This place has been ruined, everyone reasonable has been run off one by one.
Only a few sensible people remain and they are attacked for any thought that goes against the ruling gang of four.
The round table has become exactly like listening to Tokyo rose on the radio during WW2.
I know I am not alone with my feelings. There are others who lurk and see what I see.
It has become a place for a few people with agendas to both bully and force feed their ideas down everyone's throat who happens in here.
before I am ask why I don't join the merry debates, it is because I have watched.
It is not a debate.
It is endless propaganda.
One baits, one circles one brings down the weakest.
A pack of rabid wolves.

I try to use reason most of the time.

I guess that I've missed something. Did someone from here go to Barry's and try to tell you what and how to post, breinhold?

I am friendly.
Thank you for volunteering the additional information. I'm glad to know that no one here went to Barrys and tried to tell everyone how to post. That would be very thoughtless, not at all friendly, almost trolling, wouldn't you say?

Sorry but you aren't taking time to read. The same voices may appear - but there is every voice from those that think that all will be well if we just allow Da Gubbimint to do whatever they want to protect us Big Daddy instead of Big Brother - and those that think the Zionist world government will see us in manacles at a slave labor camps as they ruin the world for profit.

And a few voices in between.

But don't the weakest always fall?

How can anyone be attacked for a thought unless other posters are mind readers?

As far as bullying and forcefeeding ideas, Breinhold, I would say the success rate in doing that (getting others to change their minds about anything) that is less than 1% - statistically insignificant. That's what makes the bullying rather dumb - it doesn't work.

By the way, Breinhold, what was the purpose of this thread? Looks like baiting to me. Nah, why would a nice guy like you try to taunt others.

I think you should calm down. This is a freakin' chatroom after all. You should look at it in a different light. I frequently take posts by the "gang of four" and put them up on the company bulletin board! When you blur commentary into fact and then have to create huge conspiracies involving thousands of people to make it work it can get hysterically funny.

It isn't so much that people are "driven off". It's more that what is there to comment on thread such as Bush took out the WTC and planned it pre-natally? On issues that are "opinion" based, I will occasionally post, because heck, everyone has one. Then it can be entertaining because you can watch your so called "gang of four" bring out the nasty invective. Perhaps you take this too personally.

Most people simply spout off about things they know absolutely nothing about.

Shelly: Breinhold used to sign his posts as Brian last October when he first started to posting at the Round Table. As I recall he briefly manifestoed twice because he didn't like what others were posting and then quickly came back each time that month. That's what so odd. He seems to think the RoundTable has been "ruined" compared to then. The political postings started a year before that.

I also thought Breinhold posted under the name Delmar at Barry's?

The point was made in clear simple terms at the beginning of the thread. it was made even clearer by Linda_K.

thank you snowy for the info on trolls!
it greatly helped my point.
The round Table
"A place to kick back, relax, and have fun! Share a story, tell a joke, write a poem, make a friend..."

this in fact makes most of the political threads and post at the RT "trolling" by the definitions you have enlightened me with.
that is unless the room was named "political debate"

I dunno, Breinhold. Most posters who choose to post to political threads seem to enjoy them. Who are you to say they are not allowed to enjoy them or even find them relaxing? It's not my idea of enjoyment or relaxing but so what? I don't have to post in them or even read them.
