HAHAHAHHA, I HAD A LITTLE KITTY KNOCK ON MY DOOR ABOUT 4 WEEEKS AGO. MEOW,MEOW. I GO LOOK SEE, HEY! WHERE DO YOU LIVE? THOSE PRETTY EYES LOOKED UP AT ME AND I KNEW WHERE SHE LIVES,,,RIGHT HERE. COME ON IN KITTY.
TWEEDY IS HER NAME, CAUSE SHE SITS RIGHT ON MY SHOULDER LIKE TWEEDY THE BIRD. YOU KNOW I WOULD BE THE ONLY ONE TO NAME A CAT AFTER A BIRD. JUST MY S T Y L E.....HAHAHAHA.
LET'S HEAR ABOUT YOUR FAV. LOVE.
ONE THING I WANNA SAY ABOUT TWEEDY RIGHT OFF THE BAT. HER BRUSH WAS ALL DIRTY,,,,,I FINALLY NOTICED. WELL I WASHED IT. THEN I THOUGHT,,,,Hmmmm, BRUSH HER WITH IT SOMEWHAT WET.....SHE LOVED IT. SEEMS TO MAKE HER BE ABLE TO WASH HERSELF EVEN BETTER.(NOT TO WORRY SHE LIVES IN THE CALIFORNIA SUN, SPOILED TO THE MAX. WORTH EVERY BIT OF IT TOO.)
I GAVE HER A FULL ON BATH DAY ONE.....NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. SHE GOT OVER IT. ME TOO.
WELL HAVE AT IT PET LOVERS. I HAVE A FEELING THIS WILL BE A REALLY GOOD THREAD. I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT KATS AND HAVE FOUND A GREAT BOOK ON THEM.
TWEEDY IS A SWEETY. MEOW.
ANY AND ALL PETS CAN COME ON DOWN.

Talking about pets here will get us run out of town on a rail, but what the hell. I like cats.
I had a cat that would jump from a narrow window sill to the top of an eleven foot bookcase. All four feet would hit the wall, he'd push off with his hind legs, and land on the top of the bookcase. Sometimes, he and the books would come tumbling to the floor. He was one cool cat. Impressive leaping ability.
I have to admire a guy who would dare bathe a cat! Lap cats are common, but you've got a rarity there - a shoulder cat.

There was a black cat named Booger
That gave my husband a big yak present on the pillow in front of his face. Still makes me laugh after all these years.
I had a cat that used to bring me presents. She saw me at the back door one day and came running up with a big old snake in her mouth writhing away.
My last cat came in every night when I read to my daughter and just sat staring at me until I finished reading.

LOL.Snowyegret, one of my long-haired cats used to lick himself until he was almost bald in the back. The vet said it was self- barbering syndrome and put him on valium for two weeks. His fur grew back, but he still grooms excessively and as a result, he delivers up a hairball every other day. So far he's had the good sense not to present my sleeping husband with one.

When I was about 13 I was given an ocelot by a military fellow moving who could not take him overseas. It was a shoulder cat also - except when he would lay across your shoulders he hang off both ends. He could ride there all day as happy as could be. However the mount was sometimes rough. He would jump from about six foot away and when 30 pound of cat hit your shoulders you might jerk if you did not know he was coming - bad idea as he would hold on! He did not purr often but when he did it was like a jumbo vibrating chair. The tail was LONG and if you sat reading a book he would lie across your shoulders and I swear he knew what the end was doing messing with your face - dusting your nose - while you were trying to read. If you went for a walk the dogs would sort of not focus on this bag cape you wore until you were real close. Then when they realized what it was and just how BIG it was the common response was to freeze in shear terror. The one time a dog did not freeze he knocked me down to get at the cat who dismounted on to his face and the result was not equal. It was one of those big dogs that looks like a black St. Bernard. Don't know what you call them. But once he was mixed up with it all he wanted was away - quickly. The cat was so agitated he would not ride home he walked with me and it was the only time I had seen him mad. He stomped home - very uncat like walk. Not the usuall smooth glide. Just like a mad 5 year old. Stomp - Stomp.

Well you all have your cats and I have my dog! He's a neopolitan mastiff and he can sling slobber with the best of them. Hootch in the movie Turner & hootch is a mastiff and if you saw it you saw the kind of slobber i'm talking about. You just don't want to be within 10 ft. of him when he has a big GLOB hanging!! His name is Samson!
He is not pretty but he's the most loyal and loving dog I've ever had. He's a country dog and never leaves the yard. He sleeps against the front door at night till the tv and lights are turned off then gets under the window of the bedroom where I sleep, on the outside of course. Can't have all that slobber in the house!! lol!!

the dogs all said they had 2 much to do, the horses are too shy, the geese stomped off in a huff over having their pix taken....the cat below (one of 13 at last count) was the last to learn that the chickens must not be counted as part of the general bird population...a second after I snapped the pic that little banty hen was all over him, he now has infinite respect for chickens! The sheep,Blanca and her brother Capuccino are two of our yearlings, last year during our ONLY snowfall..around here, once it has a name, I'm not allowed to butcher it!!

Saw a fellow with a unusual T shirt - Had a truck on it with an old woman with her hair in a bun holding a pie painted on the side. Said Mother's Pies in an arch over her.
Underneath it said "I'm a Mother Trucker."

I just found this on a cat site.
size / weight: A good guide to weight is that a kitten should weigh about one pound for each month of age up to about 4 months. In other words a 3 month old kitten should weigh about 3 pounds
