The War on Terror is over!

Resident Busche is to give formal announcement to the fact that his War on Terrorism is over. Busche's first act is to repeal the Patriot Act and America is preparing a jubilant celebration at the restoration of their civil rights that will see a lot of July 4th-type of fireworks display.

The War apparently ended after the Afghan Campaign, as both Al-Queda and the Busche Camp kissed and made up. A worried Busche had chosen to use the impetus of the American people's fervor to prosecute this War to even an old score in Iraq, but would-be allies dissolved their links to the War effort, with a note to call them is something truly important came up. The Arab world turned against any new effort on the part of Busche and America to attack the sitting leader of Iraq and has been using every effort that they can contrive to derail Busche's private vendetta.

Since then, things have cooled down even further. A War on Sadaam is nothing more than saber rattling. The Culprits of the 9-11 attack have been punished, although the masterminds are still free at large, but they no longer have the power base that they once did. Since Busche couldn't care less about pursuing the War and Al-Queda, much less any other military action, all that is left is simply the official announcement from the White House.

How are you planning on celebrating V-T Day?

I must have slept too long...is it January already?

HI Borillar!

I believe I'll celebrate V-T day in a bunker. A nice safe bunker. When did you say it was??

Ashcroft refuses to recognize the victory and plans to spend V-T Day (Victory over Terrorism Day) singing and
reminiscing over past days of terror and violence.

Maybe we should spend the day destroying Ashcroft's Constitutional Hit List.

Lol, Borillar. Though it's not here yet we've begun moving in that direction.

Love the cartoon, Helen.
Maybe Ashcroft's holy roll role has almost played out.
