To add to the woes of the airlines and Pit Bull fanciers, a Pit escaped from its cage in the cargo hold of an inflight 757 and ate its way through a bundle of electrical cables. The San Diego to New York flight was said to be in no danger, but considering the plane was out of commission for nine days, it would appear the damage was extensive. American Airlines immediately banned Pits, Rotties, Dobies and all other aggressive dogs from transportation.

A friend's basenji grew impatient with her one day as she was gabbing with a neighbor. Since it couldn't bark its displeasure, it chewed a huge hole in the dashboard of her car. I wonder what it could have done to a 757.
