A mother kills her 2 sons. They both had Huntington's, a terrible disease. What do you think?
GRIFFIN, Georgia (AP) -- A grand jury
indicted a woman on murder charges
Friday for the fatal shootings of her
two terminally ill sons.
Carol Carr was charged with two counts
of malice murder and two counts of
felony murder, Judge Ben J. Miller said. A
court date hasn't been set.
Carr, 63, is accused of killing her sons,
Randy Scott, 42, and Andy Scott, 41, who
suffered from Huntington's disease, a
degenerative genetic nerve disorder that
causes involuntary body movement,
dementia and death. Their father, Carr's
first husband, died of the disease.
Carr
has
been
in custody since she allegedly shot her
sons in their beds at a nursing home June
8.
