Anyone else seeing exclamation marks in the upper left hand corner here?

I see it here, and on some other sites. It's in the HTML in front of the metatags. Does anyone know what these marks are about?

No - your browser probably shows it different than mine. It is not unusual to see some of the hypertext that should not be visible if it is written wrong. I often see things like
paragraph instructions <P> in CNN for example.
If you wonder what it is click on VIEW and look at the PAGE SOURCE and you can see the whole.

Gravid, I have been checking the HTML. The first place I noticed it was on my site, and after editing it out twice, it reappears. Very weird.

How's the diet going?

I think that snowyegret is still at Rawbunzel's birthday party.

I don't see any exclamation points

It's there. Just before the carat for the second metatag.

Really. There.

The diet goes well. It is the first one in my 55 years that is not at the cost of a headache - desperate cravings and general bad mood and weak feeling. I enjoy my food and feel satisfied and still lose. I can't say enough good about Atkins.

My blood pressure is way down already and I had a complete blood work up this morning I am still waiting to hear about.

I don't care for his powdered shake - it is way too hard to get to mix like most of those. And I do still drink coffee. However I have never been very sensitive to coffee. It might bother someone else.

I have made my own low carb steak sauce and salad dressings since there was not really any good stuff to buy - it was pretty easy.

I am spending a bit more $ for shrimp and swordfish steaks and trying some very strange new things. I have found that Rutabegus shredded with onions and parsly and fried in a lot of butter with salt and pepper will substitute nicely for potato hash browns.
I have found all sorts of new and interesting omlettes. Asperagus and mushrooms omlettes are great.

I even dice Spam fine and brown with green pepper before scrambling eggs with it. My wife however refuses to eat any form of Spam.

Should have married a Hawaiian.

BP down and losing weight and no cravings. Sounds good, and a lot better than surgery.

I have been making my own sauces for a few years now. Ran out of stir fry sauce one day, mixed up some ingredients on the bottle, substituted a few, and it was better and cheaper. But I never would have thought rutabagas could make decent hash browns.

My husband likes eggs and salami cooked together. (I don't know if Atkins allows salami or not).

there is a foo-foo high end "arts" community near us...my wife is a painter and once after a gallery opening we were invited to a unique variation on the potluck...the host provided homemade pizza crusts and guests were to bring their favorite toppings...as you might imagine, there was foi gras, smoked duck, caviar , sun dried tomatoes in olive oil so expensive it came in tiny little jars with corks, chipotle tofu (what is that stuff anyhow, yecch!, tasteless goo,..what a horrible thing to do to perfectly good chiles..)
as a joke I diced up a can of spam and packed it in Mr. Tupper's finest serving dish, then at the party flambe'd it with great fanfare with Carlos I spanish brandy....everybody RAVED about the brandy flamed "pate", which I of course claimed to have made in my Nana's ancient clay pot! ...ever notice how almost nobody will admit to liking it, and yet statistically in the US, a can of spam is opened every 4 seconds....
SPAM, it's not just for breakfast any more!!

on the original question, I don't see any exclamation points, maybe your foil hat needs to be adjusted.....

!<meta NAME="description" CONTENT="Auctions and auction related portal.

It's on various other sites too, besides mine and here. It's at Newt's too. I took it out of mine and it reappeared twice.

The flaming spam was a good idea.

The exclamation points are "unprocessed" html tags. Somewhere your browser is glitching while loading. Those exclamation points designate comments.

A Woman will spend $1.00 for a $2.00 item she doesn't need.
