Had my annual tag sale yesterday and this is my annual Sunday where I tell myself never again! I cleared out my auction workroom and made some money, but the rudeness of the public never ceases to amaze me. Everything from people making fun of my name to making fun of my voice to questioning their total after I added it on the calculator in front of them twice (and then paid with $100 bill). I can accept the questioning of total more than the making fun. I don't know if people think they can get away with it because you will be nice no matter what so they might buy something? Or is it just that nobody has/teaches any manners anymore? I just need to vent and also sleep for a week before I feel like a human again.

LOL hammerchick - Reminds me of being in childbirth...you swear this is the last/only time you'll ever do this...but then you forget what it was like and do it again.
Hope you've recovered by now.
I've compared the work of doing a garage sale to the work involved in selling on ebay. We've had some huge garage sales and crowd control was the biggest obsticle for us. Seemed like 100 people would show up at once, then no one, then a group of 100 again. Everyone asking [at the same time], "Will you take $$ for this instead?" Still haven't decided which is easier. Better selling prices on ebay, but one still must deal with all kinds of people.
Manners? Well....stand up for yourself. Say, "Excuse me?".
Hopefully, you've cleared out all the items you wanted to and have a bundle of money in hand.
