This has been a topic up for debate on CourtTV and other news shows. Do you think something like this will ever pass in the U.S.? Should you be able to watch this process on TV or PPV?

If it ain't gonna have the same excitement as the "Running Man" I ain't gonna watch.

Actually, Krafty, I think we should have a show called Slaughterhouse Live. Right around six o'clock every evening, a camera crew arrives unannounced at one abattoir or another and films the animals playing "Survivor".

Clapping!!! You are so right Pat... that should be a "must see" imo.

Maybe we could just call the whole series "The Slaughterhouse"... who knows who'll be next... man or beast? (I wonder how many death penalty advocates have actually seen an execution??)

I didn't see Running Man mlecher. Was it anything like Chariots of Fire?

Hah! I used to hang out at a bar called the Schlacthof. The only thing that was killed there were patron's ears.

No, shouldn't be a spectator sport, whether state sanctioned or not.

snowyegret, you are no fun. Imagine the potential to advertisers.

Put a Swanson TV dinner in the victim's lap just before a electrocution.

"ZAAAP!!!, see it only takes a few seconds to warm up a Swanson's Hearty Meal!!!"

Just thought I'd add that convicted serial killer Aileen Wuornos is scheduled for execution in Florida next week. She was sentenced to death in 1992.

That's just the saddest story Pat. I've followed this over the years and my heart goes out to her even though she admitted to killing those men. I heard Jeb gave her a stay, but I didn't hear how long it was for. (Those stays are cruel imo.)

I'm impressed by the "Serial Killers" trading card though. Are these for real? It's so sick, you have to keep your sense of humour.

(Maybe it's just me, but the person in the circle looks like Susan Dey from the Partridge Family.)

She decided to forego the rest of her appeals, so Bush gave her a temporary stay to test her mental competence. Stay's over and she's up next week.

That'll be two in one week as he just executed Rigoberto Sanchez-Velasco yesterday.

It is the Bush family way to deal with "evil doers". Kill em' .

They seem to be very good at it.
