I'm surprised I'm not seeing any discussion of the D.C. area shootings here...did I miss a taboo or something? If so, I apologize. Anyhow here goes..
After spending considerable time watching coverage on MSNBC, CNN etc., there is something I DON'T see all the talking heads and experts wondering about..this shooter, or shooters, has an astounding kill rate...80 percent, shooting from considerable distances and using a cartridge which is most often used for varmints,at least where I'm from...nobody would use a .223 on anything larger than a white tailed deer... and by witness accounts, nobody ever hears more than one shot! This shooter is not just some crazy as he seems to be portrayed by the media, he's a trained, very skilled professional. I know from experience that it's one thing to be able to hit fixed targets in a shooting range situation, and quite another to perform like this under real life conditions...in addition, doesn't it seem that the feds have precious little to say about the whole thing?
Makes me wonder, that's all...

OH! That's what OT means. OFF-TOPIC! Meaning it's not about Bush or those dastardly Republicans. How could I have missed it!
