Is it my imagination or is Christmas coming earlier and earlier every year. In my town Halloween is barely over and the merchants HAVE to rush to get their Christmas decorations up for "Holiday Showcase" this weekend as decreed by the Merchant's Association. No Thankgiving, no Family, Fall and Harvest Orientated theme. Nope, straight into rabid over-consumerism. No word yet on what would happen to us if our business went with the Family, Fall and Harvest Theme rather than the BUY, BUY, BUY until your credit card BLEEDS!!!

It is hereby decreed that there is to be absolutely NO CHRISTMAS ADVERTISEMENT OR WINDOW THEMES until 9:00am Friday after Thanksgiving.
