My son brought home a sign to hang on my home office door. It inspired me to give thought. I think it might be fun to hear how others would answer this question in light of recent world events. Here's what the sign says:

What if imagination ruled the world?

What if imagination ruled the world?

#1 My ebay sales would be sky high.

#2 The world would be better off.

1. Erase my Credit Card Debt and then maybe I could fully retire and read.

2. Packers win the Superbowl Game.

Okay, you told me yours, here's mine:

1. There would be a cure for every known disease; hospitals, doctors, and drug companies would care more for the patients than they do the "bottom line."

2. Peace in the Middle East; centuries of fighting would be no more than myth; oil prices would be rock bottom and gasoline would be under $1.

3. All the evil in the world would be swallowed up into a black hole; children would no longer be abused and murdered; racial hatred would be ended; there would be no need to worry about our Right to Bear Arms, because there would be no need to protect ourselves.

4. Jobs, jobs and more jobs; prosperity more evenly distributed; health insurance coverage for all; no retirement worries; super Ebay sales; a stock market that never has the bottom drop out of it; a decent savings account interest rate.

5. There would be a president in the White House that actually cares what the American people think and want; Senators and Congressmen would get along (or at least agree); no more political parties that think so differently and divide so many.

Oh, well, it would be nice. . .if only imagination did rule the world. And it's back to reality.

LoL! I'm trying to picture junquemama b*itchslapping war mongers.

My biggest wish would be that everyone treated animals with love and respect. Maybe instead of buying a gift for someone this Christmas, buy some dog and cat toys with the money and donate them to your local Humane Society... they don't get toys while they're in jail for Christmas.

It's a pretty good wish junque... very proactive! You know, if I could go back in time, I wouldn't mind cuffing a few people either. What would be even better would be if I was invisible while I was doing it.

Thankfully, HOPE doesn't weigh anything drkosmos... if it did it would be called extra baggage. What's making you feel crappy today??

What if imagination ruled the world

It's an ambiguous question. I had thought along the lines of everyone with different ideals trying to rule the world - when I answered, "absolute chaos" would be the result. Can you imagine the number of conflicting "hopes"?

If imagination ruled the world, you'd have the Saddam's of the world trying to overpower the Borillar's of the world, and more wars. Isn't that what we already have?

You might have a prankster wishing for more trash littering our roads, more agony, and pain.

I just don't see any difference, this is the best we can do, with or without imagination.
