Amid reports of ballot box stuffing, voter confusion over multipage ballots, Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu is calling for a recouont in Saturday's election results.

With 99% of precincts reporting, Landrieu had 627,253 votes, or 51 percent, and Terrell had 591,791, or 49 percent.

Ohhhh wait, Landrieu just realized she won afterall and has canceled her request for a recount.....

Sickening.

Voter Fraud should be on the same level as Treason.

The people who have won close races for the last ten years only had better ballot box stuffers.

This voter fraud crisis has cost the confidence of the American People. Which is why many did not vote. It is a backlash from Bush being appointed into office by the Supreme Court. When the Court ruled out of jurisdiction, the election was overturned and ALL votes nullified. And the American people know it, no matter what the spin from the media gives it. We are as close to true civil war as we have ever been in this country. Only this time it won't be North vs South, it'll be an armed revolution. Hence, the Patriot Act and Homeland Security.

Landrieu beats GOP Challenge in Louisiana

It was just a rumour that a problem was involved in this election as the starting comment indicates.
Actually, it was a close race but the Democratic candidate, Mary Landrieu won the Senate seat in Louisiana.

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 7 -- Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, staving off a concerted challenge by the ascendant Republican Party and by President Bush, won reelection to a second term tonight against state Elections Commissioner Suzanne Haik Terrell in a runoff.

Landrieu beat her Republican challenger by about 40,000 votes out of more than 1.2 million tallied. With all precincts reporting, Landrieu had 642,974, or 52 percent, to 603,160, or 48 percent, for Terrell.
