Well... I mentioned that if the US blocked the research, some other country would do it, seems some other country is doing it.

We need to do the research to get the patents on the technology so at least we can control it.

If naturally born humans have no rights anymore in this country, then what rights would a human clone have?

I guess we're already cloning human embryos, then destroying those embryos to harvest the stem cells.

At what point do you draw the line, and say, "no, you may not destroy this human being for the sake of science?" A fetus age one month? Five months?

I do see it as a matter of human rights. Growing cloned human fetuses for science (with the intent of destroying them) is abhorrent.
