SAG President Gilbert is showing her leadership skills. Wasn't Reagan the SAG president at one time?
Gee, I wonder if my crystal ball shows America being lead by President Melissa Gilbert?

The difference is that R.R. was already visibly suffering from signs of Altzeimer's Disease when he was President of the Guild. When the Republican Party tapped him on the shoulder to switch political parties and to run for Governor fo California, they too were aware that his illness was advancing.
Fortunately for Ms. Gilbert, she seems to be a real get-goer and she worte a nice piece there, IMO. Would she eventually follow in R.R.'s famous footsteps? I'd like to belive that this is still a country where there are no limits to ambition, other than decency and commonsense as the matter arrises. If it is in her desire to do it, I think that she would make a good candidate.

clarksville - The reason I said I didn't know about Ms. Gilbert for president is that I'm not aware of her opinions on the issues. Wouldn't be able to decide until I knew.
Senator? hahaha Nope, if I had any ambitions, other than enjoying retirement, I'd want to be a judge.
