Was I the only one that watched this last night?

Am I the only one that noticed that they are testing the females "love" for Joe, when they find out he isn't a millionaire, yet all the females are Barbie replicas? No "large" sized, "non-pretty," "physically challenged" and have well paying jobs.

Maybe they should have called it "Shallow Joe (Hal)" instead.

Yes, you were the only one watching

The whole concept of the show is revolting. And of course all the women are "babes"--this is an American show, after all & no non-gorgeous women need apply.

When I got home from my lodge meeting last night, my wife was watching it. I saw about five minutes of it and realized that I certainly was not a member of their target audience. I instead went back to my computer to "add" to the discussions on here.

We watched it. I liked that substitute teacher Zora she seamed down to earth. That lady heidi was so aggressive- we didn't like her at all. We might watch it again---maybe!
We are in the generation X age group- maybe we have nothing better to do.

I'm just a tad older than you <wink> and I don't think it is a "generational" thing

I was noticing the substitute teacher, too as being down to earth etc. IMO she stood out of the crowd.

The reason I watched it, was out of curiousity. Will I continue? Probably

I'd have to say only 3 or 4 are Barbie-types. Some I'd say were only average-looking and/or had average bodies. I don't know about the well-paying jobs. I took a quick look at the Joe website and I didn't see any that really had "glamour" jobs. They just seemed to have decent jobs, or at least, gave themselves better titles. One called herself a "Customer Service Rep." which could mean she works the complaint counter at Kmart.

The one that most fits your description, Andrea, the curvy blond computer specialist was eliminated.

Is this show anything like The Bachelor?

Or a prostitute

I think what I dislike about the show's concept is it's inherent meanness. They lied to these women (like Survivor, everything has is already in the can), producers, bachelor & public all getting a big chuckle over the lengths they'll go to to land a "millionaire."

Fair warning, I totally believe this show is a fake. No, I didn't watch it. With hundreds of millions of viewers, they won't leave anything to chance. It's all scripted. Kinda like pro wrestling.

Linda

I didn't watch it, but from the promo's I got the impression it was a bachelor "scam". The guy is represented to have received a $15 mil inheritance, when in fact he is a "working" Joe earning $15 K a year.

Thanks Bear - Those type of shows really show what some are willing to do when they think large sums of money are involved.

We watched one of the Bachelor shows and found it very sad that several of these women appeared willing to do whatever they thought they needed to do in order to 'win' the bachelor. Sad...and hard to watch them selling themselves out so quickly.

So since this could be considered a "sex" thread, there is a tie-in with the other sex threads.

The FOX channel could use Borillar's pill to keep Joe in line with all of the women.

"The Bachelorette" producers could use the pill, too.
