You think things are stagnant and the interest rates are astonishingly low to no effect here?

Japan has gone into negative interest rates.
They will pay you to take the money.
No not a troll or joke - read it.

I remember the late 80s when their market went to hell and never pulled up.I use to sell jewelry to a couple of ladies there.All of a sudden they stopped buying,same for the other buyers of some of my friends.Cripes what a mess.
