Has anyone tried the USPS post office shipping labels off their web site? Did you know that delivery confirmation is "free" for priority mail if you get the shipping label off the USPS web site? They are suppose to be adding more stuff. They might as well get into the act when everybody else is.

The only problem is that USPS will not allow you to purchase additional insurance online. Just another way to get us back in line at the post office. Once at the counter they try and push a book of stamps on you. I can't stand USPS. Go FedEx!

My customers can't afford FedEx or UPS - besides I hear UPS is raising their rates 4%!!

I have been using the USPS Shipping Asst program for about a year, and am very pleased with it - especially since they have now added DC to First Class Mail.

I'm with Stamps. com right now and I don't even pay $9.95 a month. They charge $4.95 or 10% whichever is higher. I would be paying more if I went on Endicia. As far as insurance, you still have to take it down to the post office and get it stamped - otherwise it isn't valid!

JJ.....I used stamps.com but with the volume I was shipping it was costing be $40 to $50 a month.

As far as insurance, with Endica I print my own receipt showing insurance was paid for & in a text box on the label enter the word "INSURED".

The post office accepts that a verified insurance receipt.

Wow, I'm going to have to check into both of the above. I didn't know Endicia had that option. Will have to check that out. I hate running to the post office for "one" package. I live in a small town and the gal in our local post office has a fit because I don't run down there to have the DC slip stamped by her! Thanks for the info you guys!
