It would have to be the whole region - the full extent of the Prophet's madness to do any good.
From Algeria East to Pakistan and South down the coast of Africa.

I think I saw that Iran has been removed from the evildoer list.

We know the A-Q are in many countries. That's what I believe President Bush meant when he's said "You're either with us, or against us". Since 9-11 many countries around the globe have begun to actively pursue known terrorists. There are those who choose to protect them, hide them, support them financially. They are those not 'with us' in the fight against terrorism.

Considering that Al-Queda is a way of thought as opposed to an nationality it's kind of hard to wage war on it. The more war we wage on Arab Nations the more we feed the thought process that creates Al-Queda. If we wage a war against every country in which Al-Queda members reside we only succeed in creating more members in more countries as our reign of tirany offends more and more people.

This "if you are not with in youare against us" is the most arrogant concept in world politics. As American citizens we are given the right to question and even Guess we are pretty lucky because anyone else that dares do it is now considered an enemy.

Democritize Iraq and Iran will topple in a revolt led by its people.

The "you're either with us or against us" isn't arrogant at all, it is the truth in a war against terrorists.

AQ is a way of thinking, just as Nazism is. That didn't stop tghe free world in WWII from making the same claim of being with us or against us.

I have absolutely no fear of inflaming or offending the Arab world by destroying anyone and anything that aides and abets terrorists, that includes Hamas and all the rest. I fear offending the Arabs as much as I would fear offending the Nazis.

What I do fear is living in a world where our children and grandchildren live in a fortress continent where travel becomes a chore due to security. I fear living in a world where our friends and neighbors that want to visit or work in our country can not or won't due to security. I fear living in a world where my children and grandchildren have to fear visiting Europe or anywhere and carrying an American passport. I fear leaving a country to our children and grandchildren where they do not feel safe.

The world will hate American and its allies for cleaning up this radical muslim mess about as much as they hated us when we crushed Nazi Germany, fascist italy, and Imperial Japan.

I am hearing the same excuses not to "get involved and to do nothing" that bombarded Churchill in the 1930sas his nearly lone voice asked England and the World to stand up against Hitler.

Had our fathers and grandfathers not stood up against these people in the 1940s, the world would be a much worse place.

The "good citizens" of Germany after WWII all made the same claim about their innocence and how it was all Hitler and the Nazis that caused the problems, they were not a Nazi, but their neighbor was. We are hearing the same thing from the Islamic countries. 'It is the radical islamic people that are the problem'. All the while they are donating money and any other support they can give bin Laden, Hamas and all the rest.

I refuse to hand out nation's future over to defeatists, blame America firsters, and cowering do-nothings.

ditto what Reamond said....'cause he always expresses it so much better than I am able to.

And it also scares me that so many in our country can't see this as something we can't allow to continue.

You know this is about responsible leadership too. The Jane Fondas and Tom Haydens of the world will take absolutely no responsibility for the mass murders in Vietnam nor the other suffering strife or murder that continues there.

That bug eyed actress that has taken the blame America first mantle Susan Sarandon will also take no responsibility for the murders and use of WMDs by middle east countries.

Does anyone realize that Iran now has a reactor and will have nuclear weapons soon ? Does anyone realize that the first country on their bomb list is Iraq ?

The problem with these protesters is that whether they get their way or not, they will not take responsibility for a worse outcome nor will they admit they were wrong.

They were not elected, they are not our leaders.

REAMOND,
On your last post.

When we do go into Iraq, and we find even more of the weapons, Nukes, chemical & bio agents then we thought. (I wish there were none but Know in may heart there's plenty)I want to see if any of the boards messages confront the ACTUALLY finding of these things.

I know many will say the US put them there. They will say this out of, stuipity, ignorance or because they really hate the US.

They may say "he has the right to have these things". May state "What right do we have to find these things?"

It will make no difference to me as long as they are found and distroyed. It will make a bigger difference to the Iraqi people. It will mean there freedom from tyranny. Isn't that what a lot of people want?
"Cast off your chains"

Amen,
Reverend Colin

No, no Colin

That's when the "BIG CONSPIRACY" kicks in. The (fill in the blank) found was planted by "George Bush and da Republicans" to help subjugate the (US) people.

"I know many will say the US put them there. They will say this out of, stuipity, ignorance or because they really hate the US."

So then..anyone who would dare to question the government's figures or motives is, in your estimation a stupid, ignorant US hater, right?

No, what makes them "a stupid, ignorant US hater", is that given info by the Iraqi gov and a US agency or media source, they choose the Iraqi gov.

I understood what you said, " They will say this out of, stuipity, ignorance or because they really hate the US"

It wasn't a comeback, it was a question. You didn't answer it, unless your answer is that you were "giving a twist"to your statement, in which case I guess you really didn't mean what you said.

Why do Liberals always twist what someone says or writes? Always molding someone's words to fit what their agenda?

GOOD LORD, A REVELATION...THEY ARE THE SAME AS THE REPUBLICANS THEY HATE. In your case your post speaks for it self.

BTW, It wasn't a question. Couldn't be a question. It was a statement.
Amen,
Reverend Colin
