Am I the only one that thinks the government has better things to do right now than go after pipe makers, glass blowers and comedians?

How can the USA possibly afford a war or Iraq, Terrorism, Drugs and now pipe makers, glass blowers, magazines and Tommy Chong?

Is Tommy Chong REALLY a danger? Am I to understand that Tommy Chong is considered as dangerous as Osama?

Please put down your pipe and put some sense into that post... doesn't make a bit of sense without some background info.

Those indicted get no sympathy from me.

...that thinks the government has better things to do right now than go after pipe makers... This is what the DEA is suppose to do.

"Drug paraphernalia does not include any items traditionally used with tobacco, like pipes and rolling papers. "

Yeah - Tobacco the government protected drug is exempt. Frigging hypocrites.

The purpose of the DEA is to raid pipe shops? Funny, I thought it was to fight drugs.. silly me.

Or maybe a glass pipe is a drug?

My Aunt who has never smoked anything and won't even have a glass of wine has two big ornate water pipes from Saudi Arabia that are the sort used to smoke hash sitting in her living room as decoration.
I can just see the DEA ramming her door down and cuffing my 84 year old Aunt as a doper.
To keep us safe - yeah......

Don't let her use them as decoration near a window! The double whammy publicity of arresting an old woman with paraphernalia would be feature news and contribute to the fear atmosphere all across America. Good Lord, if she has a computer with internet access, she could be implicated in a billion-dollar industry. LOL!

What a trivial and silly concern. Maybe the motive is practice or preparation to attack Internet infrastructures.

Yah! I thought that it was a load of crap for the DEA to be going after MJ smoking paraphnellia! After all, if MJ is legalized everywhere, then the South American and Mexican drug cartels will nearly collapse! Can't have THAT happening, oh no!

Don't worry - they have a laundry list of prohibited substances to keep the drug warriors employed.
They get practice by keeping the asthmatic kids in school locked away from their inhalers.
Of course when they are chocking to death they can't ASK for the stupid thing.......
But we all have to make sacrifices to in a war.
