A country singer has done a 'Pro Bush' Support the Troops song, that has become an overnight hit. There are radio stations around the country that refuse to play it.
He has gone to the middle east and played this over and over for the troops, and they love it, as do a lot of people here, I had never heard it, until my 22 year old told me about it.
Its called HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN
A Song by Country Artist, Darryl Worley
I don't have the lyrics, and the recording studio moved the release up to April 15 or so.
Has anyone else heard this?

Yes, I have on FOX NEWS They had him on, singing it this morning.
The thing I was, but shouldn't have been, surprised about was how many music stations were not willing to play it for the public to hear.
Shame shame shame on those anti-war people. They don't want a new song to make or break it on it's own merit...but rather because they blocked it from being played.
Reminds me of the CA teacher who recently was FORCING her students, as a requirement for their grade, to write and anti-war protest letter to the President. If they wanted to write the same letter letting the President know they were in agreement with what he's doing, the teacher said they'd not receive any credit. Gotta love these anti-war people, they'll go to any lengths. I was happy to read the teacher was reprimanded, just as this song writer has been able to push past those who would like to not allow his 'voice' to be heard.

wow Linda, didn't hear about that
This singer has been playing for our troops, they all love it..... he even won a country music award this year (not for this song though) best vocalist/singer? not sure... but yeah, it really is something that these radio stations have not let it play at all.
My daughter heard it on the country station here, that actually allowed it on air and she loved it.
She was here when Hannity and Cohns were on, and Darryl Worley was on and he played it, she was going 'shhhhhhh, you GOTTA here this, its really good'

Yes, doing this for our troops. They need more of that type of support....and people like Worley are VERY appreciated by them.
He's taking criticism from the anti-war group who have accused him of doing to this profit from his song. Like there never has been a singer before him that hoped to profit from their songs selling. right... ALL singers hope to profit from their songs. But one of the things that sets this singer above the other 'for profit singers' is it's in support of our country.

Wow Linda, hope that is not going around... afraid that teacher would of been pretty upset when I came to school demanding an explanation...and we wonder why people won't support schools...
AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

twelvepole - I think that's exactly why we're reading about all those who are objecting to teachers keeping their 'opinions' to themselves, and AWAY from the school environment. Especially since a huge majority of college professors 'lean left'. I believe O'Reilly said somewhere around 85-90% of college professors are liberals.

I hope the guy makes a fortune off the song. No one held it against all those lefto commie musicians that make money off their war protest songs. George Michael has one out, not to mention all those that made their name in the 1960s and 70s with their anti-war "music".
I am not a country music fan, but I will buy this song just to support the swelling tide of appreciation for what our servicemen and women are doing.
