That's all. Why aren't they in the front lines? They're old enough to join up. Should be a rule, every congressman and general/admiral and of course the president must have at least one son, daughter, or grandchild IN THE FRONT LINES.

If that is to be the rule, then why hasen't Chelsey Klinton enlisted, rather than taking a intern position with a starting salary of $120,000 per year.
After all she is out of school, not like Bush's daughters that are still in college.

Lets see, why aren't the Bush girls not on the front lines....
Cuz there is not a draft, and they are in school?
I don't know about comments like this... thats right, why isn't Chelsey out there then, if that is your thinking? Her mother VOTED FOR WAR back in Nov. after all.

I guess I deserve the flaming!
You're right, Chelsea Clinton should be there, too. I hadn't thought of her yet.
I know I sounded ignorant; I'm really not--but I'm beside myself tonight over this war. SURELY there is another way. And will North Korea be next? If not, why not? OIL, perhaps? Hmmmmmmm?
I know there's no draft. But I do believe the people who run our country tend to be older, out of danger of having to fight in the front lines, and usually with enough pull to keep their own loved ones away from those front lines.
Ditto for the sad fact that they get free health care and can't know what that struggle is like for millions of Americans.
They are INSULATED from the pain. That's my point.
And when the body bags begin coming home, we'll know the true costs of war.

Being the President of the US is a very dangerous job. There are hundreds, if not thousands of suicidal terrorists who would give anything to assassinate the president or his family members. Bush and his family are on the front lines everyday.

I would say that the Bush twins face MUCH more danger than the average soldier will in this war. In fact, they may not be able to lead normal lives ever again.
