An under sec of state announced in Rome that Syria, Iran, and North Korea would do well to take note of what happened to Iraq.
Syria is another scum pond that needs drained.

Well Syria did some major backtracking today. Last week they were prompting people to go to Iraq to fight and save Saddam and Islam. Today they were claiming that to suggest that Saddam was in Syria is slander.

Who knows? As a senator said, "The first casualty when war comes is truth." The people are told something like the liberation tale, or that we're rooting out terrorists when in fact, the empire is being extended while corporate interests profit. What happened to the nuclear bomb that Iraq was supposedly building?
Which country do we invade next has been replaced by the question, how much of the middle-east do we need to acquire.

Helen, while we are there, might as well take it all. What we don't use, we give it Israel.

Have you been sitting in on those secret meetings with side line warriors such as Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz and Donald Rumsfeld and Condoleezza Rice?

Helen,
I don't think President George W. Bush is going to invade Syria. The Marines are on their way to YOUR HOUSE!
I heard that they are concerned that you are renting a room to Saddam for $35.00 a week to supplement your falling ebay sales. This price includes meals.
A typical meal might be kraft macaroni and cheese dinner. After he helps you do the dishes, you require him to help list your junque on ebay.

Helen.......
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. With all the phone calls & faxes I've been getting from the Pentagon I just have had time to respond to your post.
The last was from George inviting me to Crawford this weekend.

Moved them to Syria....????
All this time the Bush administration has been claiming that our spy satellites and inside sources watched as Saddam hid and buried his massive trove of chemical and Nuclear WOMD's AND WE KNEW EXACTLY WHERE THE HECK THEY WERE. But we couldn't release that information because it would give away our intelligence methods......
And it all missed the little thing of hundreds of trucks going to Syria???!!?! Where we could have EASILY intercepted them?!?!?! We have people in Syria!!!
Now after we invaded and "liberate" Syria, were will the administration say they moved the WOMD's next?
My guess is Iran.....
Then Korea...
Then Libya...
Then anywhere else that pisses us off or has something we want....
"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both boldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."

I agree mlecher, although Korea doesn't have anything the U.S. is interested in. That job's been passed off to Japan and China.
