Guess what.... War is over.... so to continue on with your inane postings about the war and Iraq is pointless, sort of like all those protest rallies... LOL
One thing I wish you would do though is take some little money and buy a clue... Depending on you people for the defense of this country, is like depending on the withdrawl method for not getting pregnant...
Oh and Syria has asked to be invaded... when questioned about WOMD and Iraqi Leadership, they said "Prove It" Yep we just might do that...

I have to laugh at those who think this way.....STILL NO WOMD'S Found, Bush admin. still caught in bald-faced lie....because these are the same people who said we MUST allow the inspectors MONTHS in order to see if they could find of these weapons. MONTHS....and here we've been fighting the war for less than a month....not like our military guys/gals haven't been busy or like they've had all the time in the world to go about the business of searching.
You 'lefties' crack me up. In 1990 - 1991 the UN inspectors KNEW Saddam had these weapons. Under the first UN resolution Saddam was to PROVE they were destroyed. He didn't. He hasn't. But hey, why should we expect anything different from the 'blame America first' crowd? If Saddam said he doesn't have them, you believe him. But when your own government tells you he does....gosh no don't believe them. How very very sad.

Well Linda, the U.S. supposedly had intellegence that lead them to believe Iraq had WOMD more than 10 years ago, so the U.S. has had more than 10 years to find them... where are they? How many times did Bush say they knew where they were secretly kept... where are they then?

[you ask] How about the UN knew and stated they knew and the resolution THE UN wrote was an agreement BY THEM [Iraq] to destroy these weapons? Why would you think Iraq/Saddam would agree to do so IF they DIDN'T have any to destroy?
You continue to use the UN and what they want when it suits your statements. But then when our country states the SAME EXACT THING the UN has stated, the exact same thing Clinton has stated, you don't believe them. Sure doesn't make any sense to me.

Linda, I have never disagreed about Iraq having WOMD. I was simply asking, from your post, why nothing has been found yet. I wondered why, if the U.S. knew where all these WOMD were kept, weren't the UN Inspectors sent to those places to find them before the war started? Now Bush has said that they know where they're kept, so where are they?

KD - I know what you asked....and I answered it. How would you expect our soldiers to go looking for these items when FIRST they have to take control of the country? Remove Saddam's regime.

I don't recall reading that we knew WHERE they, but rather we knew they had them.....and since they were now denying that fact, they still had not proven to the inspectors they had been destroyed. According to the UN inspectors there's always a paper trail.
And as to IF we knew where some might be....and I restate IF....have you ever heard of spys/those working to be sure these items weren't found? There are many 'ears' involved in the inspections process. And I read that when the inspectors were told before where some weapons were located, by the time the inspectors got there, they'd been moved. Here, I'm speaking of the inspections done during the clinton administration. Clinton said himself Saddam was playing games with the inspectors.
