I find the wording wrong sweetees. Instead of invade (sounds too aggressive), put in the word liberate. It has a much more calming effect, not to mention it being a good marketing word.

"President Clinton suffers from a very bad case of victory envy. Victory envy is when you're a loser and you didn't have any victories and now you see a guy who did it for real. And you realize that after all your puny Tomahawk missiles and your puny midnight or 2 a.m. attacks on the information building -- I mean, all the different pathetic things that President Clinton did in foreign policy -- suddenly you see what a real commander in chief and a real president is like." --Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, on how our former national embarrassment fancied himself more of a big shot than he ever was

Right bear. The economy, the deficit, the enviroment are just a few items I can think of that are much improved since Clinton.

A few things Clinton didn't have the guts to do:
Cut taxes on the wealthiest one percent and send state budgets into free-fall (the federal estate and corporate-income tax cuts cost Florida a combined $800 million in revenue. This is state, not federal tax revenue.)
Spend billions of dollars creating a new agency and an office whose only job is to spy on American citizens
Swing a wrecking ball against the First Amendment by diverting public tax money to religious groups who are taking over government programs but have zero accountability for the results. (I have no problem with allowing religious groups getting taxpayer money to provide services, but they should not be allowed to force people into their beliefs and they should be just as accountable as any other contractor.)

Bush approval rating rises after war Associated Press
WASHINGTON -- President Bush's job approval has risen past 70 percent after the war with Iraq but remains far below his father's level after the Persian Gulf War, largely because of partisan differences in feelings about the current president, a poll indicates.
Bush's approval rating was at 72 percent in a poll released today by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. His father's rating rose to 89 percent after the first Gulf War in 1991.
"Even after the success of the war, there's a lot more partisanship than there was toward his father," said Andrew Kohut, director of the Pew Research Center.
Republicans solidly approve of the president's performance, with more than 9 in 10 backing the job he's doing, about the same number who felt that way about his father after the first Iraq war.
Just over half of Democrats approve of the president's job performance, 52 percent, while 39 percent disapprove. Almost three-fourths of Democrats approved of the father's job performance soon after the earlier war.
And the president's job approval by independents is lower this time around, 68 percent compared with 83 percent who approved of the father in 1991.
The president "is a more divisive figure than his father was to the Democrats," Kohut said.

From a Navy Man...
After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five US military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 US military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of US embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible! Would be hunted down and punished.
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 US sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
These examples are but a few of the reasons people have supported this President....and admire his courage.

MY pleasure bear. The truth is hard to admit...to some, it's so much more fun to put down a President that shows he's got a backbone and doesn't make false promises....and then do nothing.

Helen, you are so good at providing web links, can you find some for the statements above, on WHY Clinton didn't fulfill those promises he made?

I don't consider that those statements, made by a Navy Commander, are false. Snopes is saying it's not true he didn't do anything. Well he didn't do much. Like let the terrorists know he was serious about these actions taken against our country. They're excusing him from not doing much if anything about it. SA wouldn't turn them over....SA wouldn't let us question them....etc. and what did he do about that? NOTHING.
[Notice 5 terrorists attacks against our country during the clinton administration....and then 911 happned. What happened after 911? Bush told Afghanistan to turn the suspected terrorists over to us OR ELSE. They didn't. He just didn't go away or let it go as Clinton did. Bush showed them he was serious. Bush told Saddam to either disarm or prove he didn't have WoMD, he didn't. Bush took action.
And when we heard Syria was starting to give refuge to the Iraqi leaders he WARNED them he was taking this VERY seriously. And look what the results of that 'little threat' were.
That's the difference between 'talking' about it and taking action. Presidents are required to protect our nation....not give slaps on the hands and let it continue. The terrorists saw that as a weakness......they won't anymore.
