Have you noticed how conspicuously absent some posters are? Remember yeager and how he wasn't going to pull any punches? And ReAmOnD, who's been here forever? LindaK?? Colin, the master website owner?? Was it something we said? I hope losing battles at the RT didn't make you feel bad & that you'll reconsider coming back, eh?

Have you noticed how conspicuously absent some posters were? Like during the liberation of Iraq.

Bear - we were all here argueing with Linda, Reamond and Twelve the whole time.... short term memory loss?

Krafty - I generally expect the boards to be slow on from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday since Sunday nights are the heaviest for auction closing. I just assume people are busy with answering last minute questions and then packaging on Mondays. Maybe everyone had a great week and are still packaging.

Besides, aside from the Texas mother who beat her kids to death with rocks and the Powder Puff football game gone to hell (by the way - was I the only one that wanted to smack the student interviewed the next day whose response was "So a couple girls got their head cracked open...big deal!) it's been a slow week for the truly controversial.

I am surprised that Gravid has not re-emerged with his "Nuke Mecca and teach them damn muslams (sic) a lesson" tirade after last nights bombing.

Come to think of it, I'm kind of shocked that no one has brought the bombing up considering that it could actually be used to reaffirm beliefs of both right and left wing arguements....

Right - Saudi Arabia is an enemy state endorsing violence against Americans (another BTW - did anyone else notice that most of the inhabitants of the "American Village" that were interviewed had distinctly European accents?)

Left - Rather than striking blow against terrorism, the war in Iraq would instead inspire more attacks in retaliation.

Colin, the master website owner

This is a story a friend just forwarded to me, please pass it on to as many people as you can:

He put so many people on the "A list" that a total of 8 people hit his site all at once, causing his hosting servers to crash.
