Along with remembering those who gave their lives for this country, I'd like to remember some other important people in my life this Memorial Day weekend. I hope that others will share, too.
David Cameran P.
1966 - 1996
You were a brother like no other. You are remembered every single day.
Virginia MacDonald
1915 - 1997
Not only my grandmother, but my best friend. Our talks helped me through the some of the toughest times of my life.
Alice W.
? - 1998
My boyfriend's mother. It was a pleasure knowing you if only for a short time.
Richard B.
1957 - 1999
A husband who at times infuriated me. Not only did he provide support as a husband, he was a terrific father and grandfather.
Donald MacDonald
1914 - 2001
The strongest man in my life - my grandfather. His lessons will be carried with me every single day of my life.
Ronald Rooy
1949 - 2002
A dear friend, a close confidant. A man that touched others in ways I only dream of doing.
You will be remembered always.
Edited to add: 2000 was a good year for me. No one died. Let's hope 2003 is just as good.

Thanks, that was a very good post and one to be considered deeply. Thanks to all who serve and serve our country and pay the ulitmate sacrifice. I would not be here today using my freedom of speech if it were not paid for in the blood of our fallen heroes. A good day to you too!
