1968 Encyclopedia Brittanica. Anyone know if it's worth anything?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. The set generally sells for $25 to $50 at estate sales. To avoid the hassel and expense of shipping, it may be a better idea to sell them locally.

Good luck!

Sal - you'll get more sellers opinions and help if you go back to the Ebay Outlook board.

Salgal,

It might be a good idea to do a completed item check here.

There are some older volumes selling there so maybe you should give it a try.

There you go! A creative idea from the round table!!!

I just knew that you could get good advice here. After all, we've been selling books etc. for years.

Gravid, as an author, knows how to sell a book.

I work in the old book buisness...
God, that sounds so lame...

I can tell you that the set of 1968 encyclopedias is too young to be of any collectors value and to old to be any informational value. Heck, you probably can't even donate them anywhere.....

With the explosion of the internet, late edition encyclopedias have become nothing more than a white elephant...

Well, whatdayaknow neon!

We came through with the right info right off the bat....no need to send the seller back to some other place to get help.
