I'm sure most sellers also collect - what do you collect?

Cowboy memorabilia, 19th C. Spanish American and Navajo Textiles, Fostoria American glass, and violent sexual insults, that's why I like it here, the last is plentiful and free

But you and Profe do it so well Kraft...must be something that comes easy for you two.
Love how you seem to start an "fun" thread and then allow profe51 to steer you away from it...
Just like a typical lefty... so easily lead astray...
I collect Leftist testicles... they are so very very rare....
You know, you two are the first ones to "complain" about insults, yet you're also the first to do the "backdoor" style... at least Bear and I are upfront and direct...

Hi, Kraft! This is a fun thread and we shouldn't allow anyone to ruin it!
I collect orientalia. I seem to drift toward Chinese, but have a few Japanese and Vietnam pieces. I just bought a beautiful green and blue and white Japanese platter from the mid-19th century for $12. It was hiding in the corner of an old antique shop in Millersburg, Ohio. It made my weekend camping trip so worth it! I have three curio cabinets busting at the seams. I'm now looking for one large one.
On my recent camping trip we found some pretty cool fossils. One of the people I was with designs jewelery and we are now collecting fossils for jewelry making. So, I guess I now also collect fossils.

Cheryl, other than the original post... you are the only one posting that actually did it in the spirit of the thread...
Congrats on your find!

I'll add to the op. I collect perfume bottles. I'm especially fond of depression glass era ones, but I have many different types. I also collect older crystal baskets.

Twelve, did you read prof's list of what he collects? One of them is insults from people, like yourself, that don't offer much except that. I've said it before that I think you're all hot air with a good person inside, so I'm miffed at why you can't make a post without all the hostility. In the meantime, the retarded nature of certain posts here leads me to think some are retarded. Look up the word - you might be surprised at the meanings.
Hi rawbunzel!!!!! It's so good to see you (as always!!) I hope you'll stay for awhile.
Prof, you didn't do anything - threads are meant to go off-topic!

I collect old bar items from the 50's and earlier. You know, the little ashtrays with the goofy sayings, the unique decanters, etc. My girlfriend collects asian items and 1:18 scale Muscle Machines.
Because of all of these, I must also say we've become adept at collecting dust too.

Ooo, you collect dust? I have some more if you want some. I can list it (wouldn't that be a hoot?) if you're interested. With my allergies, I'm really anxious to part with some of it. LOL!
Hey, not to change the subject or anything, but how is your girlfriend's venture going? I haven't heard from her in a while. Tell her to contact me once it's up and running.

I collect the toys I had as a kid but which disappeared along the way. Growing up we didn't have much money so we would go to a lot of yard sales and also have a lot of yard sales. When I got tired of a toy or wanted something else, I would sell it at my yard sale and take the money and buy different toys at other yard sales. Which worked out fine but then one day I was grown up and realized I didn't have anything from my childhood. I love using Ebay to get these things back again. I wait until I find them priced inexpensively and then I am collecting them in a trunk. What I'm going to do with them I don't really know as I don't have any kids of my own, but it just makes me feel good to have them again. I just got a program from a circus I attended when I was 11 years old. It was only $3 but to me it is a treasure.

I hope you get all your toys back! You should get a cabinet and display them all.
