Tha...a...a...a..a..a....a..ats a horrible thing.
Sometimes you have to look at the humor. good thing they weren't blind, armless or legless.
A lot of things were done in the name of science in the 30's ,40's 50's right into the 60's. I doubt they thought it was being or was harmful at the time.
