A bride always remembers her wedding day, but whose fond memories can top this? ROFL!

edited to add: I wonder which wedding portrait was more expensive - the wedding photographer's or the PD's? LOL!

okay, I cant resist asking about your tagline. I just despise advice giving taglines. I don't want you to take it personally, I'm sure your intentions are good but they drive me beserk. Like all those people who have bumperstickers on the back of their cars, be kind to animals, don't eat meat, love your mother earth, etc etc, Its not that I don't have some empathy for their beliefs its just the arrogance behind telling me somthing, like I am lacking in someway and need that little extra push into enlightenment by reading a tagline or a bumpersticker.

I'm not opposed to information taglines or bumpersticker with web addresses etc, its just those pious little comments that irk me.

First of all, I have met plenty of people who are NOT fighting a hard battle. In fact they are rich a pigs, and enjoying harvesting their wealth off the backs of little people, capitalizing on their ignorance or limitations. Why should I be kind to everyone I meet? Should I be kind to terrorist that blow up buildings? should I say hey, you are fighting a hard battle deep down inside, I'll be kind to you. That would be against my common sense would it not?

Perhaps a general rule of compassion it is better to understand that most human beings are fighting some sort of inner struggle and empathy is more healthy in the end. But Harry Thompson says EVERYONE - its not true, not everyone is fighting a hard battle. Its a matter of logic.

I think the prof has one that quotes hitler, I mean I know what the prof is trying to say, that by not thinking we could fall subject to a man like hitler, mayber, but its not absolute, Men do think. WW2 had a lot to do with economic severity, political corruption, food shortages, inflation etc etc. Not just thinking! what about hunger and starvation, lucky for men they get hungry and make poor judgements? we are not the sum total of rational thought at all times. we ARE IMPERFECT BEINGS. Thoughts alone do not save us. Perhaps Hitler should have said lucky man is fallen and selfish and ego driven and wants to blame someone else for his problems rather than taking responsibility. Karl Marx was a thinker and look at the hell he caused. How do you define thinking? think about what? the people who chose hitler were thinking, they were thinking about hitler because he said he could save them. Maybe its a persons VALUES that are more important in the end than his personal reactions. Maybe...I think hitler was evil and stupid and I don't think he deserves to be quoted in anyway. I think his observations are arrogant and foolish and he is vapid boring and lifeless. He only rose because he put his boogie board on the wave, not by his merit. He was a loser.

Anyway, just a thought about taglines, not a personal attack. Just an OPINION.

Another happy occasion botched....

OSLO (Reuters) - A Norwegian accidentally shot
and wounded six of his friends at a surprise party
to celebrate his 40th birthday, police said on Sunday.

The man found out about the party in a forest cabin
in south Norway beforehand and hid behind trees
nearby with a shotgun as about 30 guests turned up
on Saturday night, hoping to turn the surprise on his friends,

He blasted off one round in the air, meaning it as a joke
to shock the partygoers. But when he came out from his
hiding place, he tripped and the gun went off again, badly
hurting one woman in the legs and slightly injuring five others.

"Seven people were taken to hospital in Fredrikstad
including the man who shot. He wasn't physically hurt
but in deep shock," a police spokesman said.

The party was canceled

LOL! from another poster...

"On second thought...maybe it's that kind of week. Raging Connecticut Brides, Bacon Head, Elevator Decapitation, etc."

"Sheesh, I need a break from the Net."
