Everywhere I ever live is boring as hell and I hate all the people I'm around. They are either stupid middle class social climbers or ignorant trashy types. Is there anywhere cool to live? where hip intelligent life exsists? Have I given up to soon?

I have to go down stairs and unpack 50 hefty garbage bags full of stuff from our move. Its so depressing I don't think I can do it. I would much rather rant and rave over world peace, covens, secret societys and politics.

I want to move away from these hideous garbage bags but even if I find a place where beautiful people live I would still have to unpack. Sometimes I get so sick of the whole thing. I really just wish I could travel and eat out and shop, its all I really care about because it requires no thoughts only sensations. Why do people even get dressed in the morning? I do it for my child.

She couldn't be Cynthia from NY, as her post as far as I've read them, are a little more on the 'conservative' side.

But then I could be wrong

I feel numb but yet my legs ache. I feel so tired and weak I think I might fall down. I have binged on chocolate chip cookies and diet dr thunders. I am a mess. I dream my teeth fall out all the time and I have no money to get them fixed. Why do I dream that? I can get my teeth fixed?

I have dreams I getting old and I will soon be too tired to even care if I brush my hair. I will just sit in a chair and mold over while the young and beautiful take over the earth. I will be kicked aside like an old bucket with a hole in it.

I feel so uninspired. All the energy put out to compete and win for what? a cherrywood coffin in an 6 ft hole? I prefer to be buried in a stylish urn. At least I can have eternal life as a snappy decor piece.

the pacific northwest? tell me about it. Its hot here and there are 50 jillion mosquitos. I live on the water with a boat dock, thats nice but if I accidently fell into the water I would be eat immediately by alligators. They swim by constantly hoping someone may fall in. I have a wall so they can't get on land but its tough to have to worry about being eaten in your back yard.

I would like a back yard where I could rest and relax and not have those reptilian beasts staring at me, hoping I will slip up and be dinner.

There is no energy here, no happenings. Across the lake is New Orleans but I am tired of the big easy. Its become so conjested and filled with conventioneers pretending we are france on a downslide.

We are reminded of another poster who had a similar story. "Cynthia" was a single mother stuck in New York city after 911 - with a little boy, just like you.

She wanted to move too, just like you.

so cynthia must have been memorable?

Just go ahead and post your smily faces and laugh it up. No one cares I am in pain and I writh with agony. NONE of you have to unpack 50 garbage bags and 200 boxes full of material posessions. Not to mention the furniture has yet to be delivered.

I would hire a maid but there all so dense around here it would be easier to do it myself. Even if I did hire a maid how would she know where to put anything. So its all on me. WHAT CAN I DO! how can I get out of this. any creative suggestions?

The Pacific Northwest (what they'll tell you) is Washington, Oregon and Idaho

BUT I'll tell you, I don't think Oregon or Idaho have any rights to the name Pacific Northwest, since we are on the Pacific and the farthest Northwest, then it should be WA alone LOL!!!!

I live near Seattle. The summers aren't supposed to be as hot as they are, we did go through a 'heatwave' where it neared 100 on a few days, now its 83 degrees.

But ordinarily its rainy, green, and grey skies! LOL!!!!

Ahh some will say it rains 358 days of the year, but they lie, only 350!

Actually its nice, but there is a lot of traffic going into the city..... so I stay away

Cynthia was bored in NEW YORK? why?

The 9/11 tragedy was a traumatic experience for Cyn and it was especially difficult because she had to walk past the destruction every day to go to work. She wanted to find a better place to raise the boy where he would have the opportunity to play outdoors, fish in the creek etc.

Just a hint - the cool beautiful people generally shun those that use garbage bags to move. They run to the back of the house and conference call on their cell phones about new hayseed on the block.

At some point in time, when you find that every new experience and group of people is boring and ignorant perhaps you should start reexamining the inside. Perhaps you should try judging them a little less and getting to know them a little more. You have not even unpacked and have already decided that your new surroundings are beneath youand the inhabitants of the area unworthy. I find it now especially amusing that you would claim me to be arrogant.

LOL - I think she has got a two story Linda - New Orleans isn't big on basements. (I laugh because my mother just finished redesigning the house she wants built on her waterfront retirement proprety after she was reminded that basements in that area are more accurately referred to as indoor pools)
