a friend just called me and told me somthing very interesting. He is working in DC for a meeting taking place for the armed forced. He said a GENERAL said the war on terrorism has JUST STARTED and the next place they are going in will be MALAYSIA! Its going to be next term and it going to be very intense. He said that he said that the US will be going to EVERY COUNTRY that harbors terrorism and will be cleaning them out for a very long time to come.

wow- Let's say 50 countries. When occupied they will be killing two or three americans a day.
100 to 150 dead a day. Plus the heavier casualties going in. Yep - won't take long to match the Vietnam war.

A lot of stuff 'leaks'
When I was a teenager my uncle used to take me into his work and to amuse me while he was in a meeting he'd put a loose leaf folder or two about secret exotic weapons systems on his desk and let me read them. When his coworkers or boss stuck their head in the door ans asked where he was they never got upset or wondered why I was reading this material. The people there were very casual about it. They seemed to think it was silly to try to keep something secret that thousands and thousands of people were working on.
Some of the systems from the late sixties have never been made public. And do you know what? They are right. I never had any need or urge to tell anyone the details of what I read. Most people would not be interested in it and I have no reason or desire to betray the country. I think most people are loyal to the country even if they think individual politicians are fools.
