My grandaughter who is my pride and joy started kindergarten today. This is even better than when my kids started school! So, now if I ever talk about "Tiffany" you'll be able to put a face to the name. What a ham! By the by, she's related to Jason Priestley. Thankfully, I don't see the resemblence.

She's a doll! Oh I don't know, I see a little Jason Priestly in her, maybe the twinkle in the eye

I'm so glad!!!! that I don't have to do the back to school thing with my own, their both out of college and working now, thank God

I think it would be better now anyway, to see off grandkids for school BUT I've warned them not to have any till there over 35 !!!!!

She is a cutie. Oh yes, those first day of school memories. One of my favorite poems was 'My Baby Started School Today'. Then I read another one when our youngest graduated from high school. How quickly those years pass. Too quickly.

On the first day of school for our sons, our oldest son clung to my leg with such strength, I had to pry him off. Then two years later when his brother started school...I get 'You don't need to walk me in Mom'. lol

It is a treat to enjoy watching our grandchildren repeating the same steps we watched their parents take.

Enjoy her Cheryl...as I know you do.

Linda

Fortunately, she went through pre-school so she was pretty prepared for today. In fact, she cannot wait to go back tomorrow. She was delighted to find out that at least one girl she was in pre-school with is in her kindergarten class. There are also two handicapped children: one in a wheelchair and another with no arms. This boy is amazing. He colors with his feet. She bragged on him for a long time after she got home. I am so glad that she's in such a diverse school. Maybe she'll grow up with a better understanding of everyone's differences and see them as wonderful instead of odd.
