Not a very good company to do business with. I hope Vendio drops them fast. I bought ink, color and black. Color had no red in it. I emailed them and was told to run it under water and clean printer and all. Nothing worked so they told me to return it and I did. They don't call you back or answer emails on what or where my ink is.(over a month now) Absolute worst customer service ever. Stay away.

In that case, you've got it made! Complain to PayPal...PayPal will freeze the company's bank account, give you your money back and make the company beg & plead for an eternity to turn 'em loose, all the while never listening to anything they have to say on the matter....
....at least that's how it goes for auction sellers on PayPal...

In that case, the company will never have its bank account unfrozen. They'll have to stare longingly at their balance, knowing they'll never get to touch it again.... They're doomed.

Paypal goes after the easiest victim. In this case, if myinks has a paypal account and there's money in it, it is very easy for PP to get the funds back, so you stand a good chance of recovery.
It seems very stupid for myinks to do this. Ink cartridges are cheap. I sell many for $3. On the rare occasion that someone complains that a cartridge didnt work, I replace and dont even make them return it. It's not worth their postage. And it doesnt make a difference if they paid by paypal, check or credit card. The cost of a refund is calculable. The cost of an angry customer telling dozens of other people how they were treated is not. I wonder how many people read this post and how much business myinks lost over it. Stupid to do over a $3 problem.

As to the rest, why I was just giving a factual statement about how PayNoItIsn'tYourPal works when a complaint is made.

The color ink that was bad was 20.00. I spent 40.00 with them. This was their last letter to me which I followed to the T.

Bunni, Paypal doesnt usually entertain "quality of item" issues either. I hope that changes as EBAY takes over.

you know what kind of venue ebay is,there is no way ebay is going to open this BIG can of worms-quality issue.

Buying printer ink on ebay is a crap shot. Once you mailed the ink back it became a quality of goods issue and once the 30 days past you lost most paypal leverage. You can still hassle the ink company. Unpleasant transactions such as this one must do ebay a lot of harm in the long run.

>>they sell remanufactured ink cartridge at dsicount- up to 80% off list price. <<
There have been several articles about buying "off brand" ink. These concluded that though there was a risk of getting poor quality, the risk was small and the savings were probably worth it. Contrary to printer manufacturer's claims, merely using a clone cartridge would not void the warranty. However, the same could not be said of refilled cartridges. They are not designed to be refilled and using this does pose a large risk and could lead to printer damage and voiding the warranty.
There are plenty of sources for brand new cartridges with waranties at substantial savings. And if you check your "genuine" name brand cartridges, you might be surprised to find that they are made in China and similar countries - perhaps in the very same factory as the clones.

I buy my printers based on the price of the cartridges. I bought a Canoni550 for $70 at BestBuy and the black cartridges are only $2 or $3 on ebay when you buy a few at a time.
