And especially about the yard sales! Do you find yourself wishing you could be there for the yard sale they do at each house they work over? And have you ever seen such piles of crap???

I think I watched that once... is that where they 'reorganize' for you? And throw out stuff they think you don't need?
I need organizing, but not sure I'd want them to be tossing things they thought I didn't need
I like HGTV's one where they have only $500 do 'makeover' a room... some they IMO they do really tacky but I like to see that they did get a lot of the stuff at garage sales, like the furniture. They did this one dining room, and bought a table for only $100 and I thought 'I want that!' and wished I knew where the heck it was! LOL!

Yes, it's the reorganizing show--help you get rid of "stuff" and redecorate a room or two in the process. My understanding is that you get to decide what is thrown away (with some nudging from hosts).
I don't get H&G with our cable package. I'd love to have it but am unwilling to pay a lot extra just for that one channel. I've heard it's great, and I wish I could see the Kovel's collectibles show.

oh you should try and get it! I think its the only channel that is on, (besides movies) most of the time!
They have lots of stuff besides Kovels, that are similar, like 'Hey Remember' and a couple others.
They have a show for every room of your house, AND the outside, like 'Curb Appeal'
I esp. love the Home Buying show (forgot the name!) where they take a couple or family and they go house shopping... there is ALWAYS 3 homes they go through, and it seems its always the 3rd house they looked at that they buy, then they show them 1-6 months later in their new home, and what they've done. A lot of them are first time buyers, so its fun to see them move from an apt to a house, and how excited they are

maybe its not such a good idea, Mike keeps running to Home Depot, and wants to start all these 'projects'. He's got a looooooong list, but hasn't started yet
