Not sure how well this thread will go over but just thought you might like to share your favorite appetizer recipes for the New Year's Eve party. Here is one of my favorite dips. YUM!

Montana Beef Dip

1 5 oz jar chipped beef
1 16 oz cream cheese softened
1 Cup sour cream
1 medium green pepper diced
1/4 Cup milk
1 Cup green onion sliced
1 Tsp garlic salt

Optional:
Sautéed pecans in butter

Mix all but sautéed pecans together and put in a casserole dish. Top with sautéed pecans if you wish. Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold with your favorite crackers. Mine is the Ritz cracker!
Simple & delicious! Enjoy!

Stuffed Mushroom Caps

30 large mushrooms
60 - 80 small shrimp
1 round of brie cheese
garlic
1/4 butter
Bread crumbs

Remove the mushroom stems and turn upside down on a cookie sheet. (I fry the stems all up and freeze them for spaghetti sauce.)

Melt butter in a fry pan and add as much garlic as you like. Don't cook on high or the garlic will turn bitter. Add the shrimp, stir well, then turn off the heat. Let sit for 3 or 4 minutes.

Stuff the shrimp in a cap and add enough brie to fill. Sprinkle about a half teaspoon of bread crumbs on top then drizzle all the remaining melted garlic butter on top. Cook at 350 for 15 minutes.

Infamous Spam Skit.

OT, but I couldn't get it out of my mind after Jack's post...

Now when I was a child
My family was so poor
They didn't have the finer things in life to eat
So we had a plan

The government substitute for meat

To get me to eat it at dinner
They said I'd grow up like Bruce Jenner
He was a winner that never knew defeat
And when he got hungry
When he got hungry
He cracked open that special treat
It was
