This looks like the right place to say hello....
So, Hello Everyone! How are ya?
I've been looking for something like this for a lonnnnnnng time. I'm not in the mood for a fully hosted site and I needed to manage auctions much more efficiently.
Looks like Vendio does both and I'm not going to be fee'd to death! All right!
I'll bet a few of ya around these boards might just know me from the T&S board. Looks like some scam threads and policy questions are posted in some of the boards so I'll add my 2 cents now and again.

Helen, I promise not to drop any special thread "lights". LOL. I'll save 'em for the silly shillers and lil trollies that seem to crawl out from under the bridge at T&S.
So far I'm very impressed with how this all works. Nice little pointers from listings leading to the store. Auto this and auto that. Way better looking listings with cool on and off stuff when needed....
Now that I got a store maybe I should find some suppliers and stock the goofy thing! All in good time I quess.

Thanks for the welcome and yes I'll be scanning these threads. Keeping up on things is IMO important. What I like about this site's board is the fact that seasoned sellers hang around here. That makes for a rather potent reference base and one I plan on tapping. I know that I want to ramp my E-comm business up to the point that it actually can provide me with a decent "side money" job or better yet become my full time job!
The boards here are also a helluva lot less uptight compared to Ebay's mess, which is nice for a change.

By the way, everyone, tomorrow is the delegate election at our Democratic Party Caucus. Wish me luck! I have to give a speech (oh, horrors) and I'm a bit nervous about that. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm not expecting a win, but you never know!

My nerves and I thank you, Helen. I'm sure it will be fun. Besides, I should know almost everyone there. I've been volunteering enough and attending enough meetings to make your head spin. Our state rep has let me know that he's voting for me. I'll just keep that in mind when approaching the podium.

Well, saffron, there are a few that will now flock to you. Linda, twelve, bear to name a few. Hey, I've taken my share of lashes, but since this is just a computer you can sit there and stick your tonque out at the lashers or give them the finger or tell them to f themselves. Whatever, no one can see ya. Just don't spit at them. Creates a mess on the monitor.

Ohio is just about to pass a concealed weapons law and can you guess I'm livid over it? Image the scene. Your neighbor is particularly crabby. He was kept up all night by our noisy inner-city neighbors. While walkin up the street, you accidentally knock him over and he falls on his backside. He shoots. I know, it's highly unlikely. The point is, walking on the street in our neighborhood will be totally unsafe once this is passed. It's bad now. It will become worse. So, we'll leave the discussion at that.
