Australia is next on the list. Since they rolled over and gave up their firearms without a fight we can just walk in and take over the country. Do you want to buy several thousand acres cheap?

We can see who’s "rolled over" when one of our intelligence services asks it’s own citizens to bend over for a rectal scan.
Now you just be a 'good patriot' bear and touch your toes.
The patriot act gives new meaning to the term 'tunnel vision'.

No further attacks on US soil.
Surely you jest, twelvepole. bin Laden is still out and about thanks to Bush's complete failure to capture him. Instead, he spends billions of dollars capturing a man with no ties to bin Laden or Al Quaada. Or, was the raised terrorist level over the holidays just in my imagination?

That we know of at least.
If that is to imply that the government is covering up attacks that have been happening since 9-11, that is simply crap. With the immediate media coverage that we are able to receive on just about anything, if something were to happen, it would be all over the networks before a so called cover up could even happen. This is for the DUH file.
What's been accomplished so far with the Afghanistan ans Iraq wars?

The United States' next great hope for winning Arab hearts and minds hides in a squat two-story building in a generic industrial park here [Virginia], just off I-95.
...
It is to be called Al Hurra, a slickly produced Arab-language news and entertainment network that will be beamed by satellite from this Washington suburb to the Middle East. The name translates to English as "The Free One."
Al Hurra is meant to be America's "fair and balanced" pan-Arab answer to outlets like Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based satellite network that White House officials accuse of fanning anti-Americanism in the Persian Gulf region.

Why should they attack us on US soil when we have made it so easy to attack is in Iraq? Close to 500 US soldiers dead. Maybe that doesn't mean anything to you but it does to thousands of friends and relatives.
You warmongers forget that Bush said if we did not capture Osama our incursion/war in Afghanistan would be a failure.

Getalife, what Bush says, and what he means are two different things. Some here know how to decipher his messages, while most of us are left standing in the dark. I guess only his fellow Republicans get the special decoder ring.

Why erase such a profound statement? You're right, Twelve. My comments tend to be "wise-ass" style, while yours, as always, are full of maturity and wisdom...
So far, your most wisest to date, and my #1 favorite, is where you said women aren't part of mankind because it only says man in the word...

Hello, I love you
Won’t you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
She’s walking down the street
Blind to every eye she meets
Do you think you’ll be the guy
To make the queen of the angels sigh?
Hello, I love you
Won’t you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you
Won’t you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
She holds her head so high
Like a statue in the sky
Her arms are wicked, and her legs are long
When she moves my brain screams out this song
Sidewalk crouches at her feet
Like a dog that begs for something sweet
Do you hope to make her see, you fool?
Do you hope to pluck this dusky jewel?
Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello????????
I want you
Hello?????
I need my baby
Hello, hello, hello, hello???????

500 soldiers killed in a year in a war. Billions of dollars spent. Some 3000 civilians killed in less than an hour from a terrorist attack. The dollar amount hasn't been calculated yet but the number could be in the trillions of dollars worth of disruption.
If a country is harboring, training, supplying or in anyway helping terrorists I think they should be considered fair game and dealt with.
Whether you like it or not, the fact is this problem will not go away by itself. It boils down to being attacked or killed because you exist.
Personally if you shoot at me and miss I will do the best I can to return the favor and not miss. It's simple self-preservation.

Give your Wizard of Oz book to Bear and read Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. If you've read it one time, read it again.
