Just sent this link to the Tonight Show--Leno is always doing "Americans & obesity" jokes, and it will be interesting to see if they use this Censorship, like charity, should begin at home; but unlike charity, it should end there --Clare Booth Luce

The trouble is the doctors really have no deep understanding of how the body signals the brain to eat. They can't even agree on what a healthy diet is. They keep changing their opinion every ten years or so. I worked with a fellow how felt fat - any fat was simply evil. Like taking drugs street drugs into his body. He would eat a can of green beans with mustard on them for lunch. He was so depleted in fat his hair was all thin and brittle and his skin started cracking in the winter. When he got a fungal infection they couldn't clear it up until he ate better.
I started doing Atkins and my doctor warned me my cholesterol was going to go way up.
It dropped 40 points and my other number like good cholesterol improved.
