I agree with this statement taken from a link in your article. Since Kerry has said he doesn't support gay marriage, but does support civil unions.....let's see him be man enough to stand up and tell the US citizen exactly where he stands on this issue.
Think we'll get to watch him change his mind again. LOL
Robin Tyler, National Co-Chair of DontAmend.com, a project of the Equality Campaign, says "The Democratic Presidential Candidates need to stop hedging on this issue, even though it will be "the wedge issue" in the upcoming Presidential election.
They need to have the courage to run on a platform of FULL civil rights for everyone, including marriage, and stop compromising our rights because they think it will lose them the election. Great leadership requires great courage, and if they are to be considered leaders, they need to exhibit this courage, and stop hiding behind national polls.
Bigotry and hate will not be tolerated.
