can anybody link me to somebody that has answers to how and when do i have to register my e-business. all about tax. & business#s. please not the government page!!! that drives me nuts and bananas**

Here's what I know having just opened a non-profit a year ago. You have to register with the state (it was $25 for me), you have to get an EIN number with the IRS even if you have no employees (free), you have to get a vendor's license with your state so that you can pay and collect sales tax ($25 for me). I had to do a bunch of other filings as well that you would not have to do. Check with your local COSY office.

When I started, I went to my local chamber of commerce. They had a nice little folder set up with all the forms I needed to fill out. Perhaps your community has something similar.
